LLLGPA 2019 International Tax Seminar

LLLGPA 2019 International Tax Seminar

Lopez Levi Lowenstein Glinsky had a successful 2-Day International Tax Seminar with focus on the building blocks of international taxation and on the changes as a result of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Our professionals presented on such topics as Controlled Foreign Corporations (CFCs), the new attribution rules, Form 5471 and the new changes to Schedule J, Passive Foreign Investment Company (PFIC), and various other subjects. Our team also deepened their understanding of Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI), Foreign-Derived Intangible Income (FDII), Section 199A deduction applicable to pass-through businesses and Section 163(j) limiting the amount of deductible business interest.

We would like to thank our entire team for preparing for the seminar and doing an amazing job of presenting the material to the rest of the team. We would also like to thank our guest speakers, Steven Hadjilogiou and Michael J. Bruno, both with the Miami office of McDermott Will & Emery, for taking the time to present and share valuable insight with our team. Investment in the professional growth of our people is our priority!
